Submission Guidelines

Your Story Starts Here: We are always interested in discovering compelling stories and distinctive voices. If you believe your manuscript belongs on our list, we would love the opportunity to consider it.

Before submitting, please ensure your manuscript is complete and that you include the information below.

 

Your Covering Letter: Please introduce yourself and your work, your covering letter should include:

• Your full name and pen name (if applicable)

• Your email address

• The title of your manuscript

• Genre

• Approximate word count

• A brief introduction to your book

Previous publishing experience is not required. We welcome submissions from both new and established authors.

 

Your Manuscript: Please include;

​

• Your complete manuscript

• A synopsis outlining the story, key characters and overall direction of the book

• Any illustrations or sample artwork relevant to the project, where applicable

For children's or illustrated books, please indicate whether the illustrations are complete, in development, or still to be commissioned. Your manuscript should be complete and please ensure that your name, book title and contact details are clearly included with your submission.

When you are ready, email your covering letter, manuscript, synopsis and any relevant supporting materials as attachments to: hello@gahfandquill.com

Alternatively, you can upload your manuscript directly using our online submission form, submit your manuscript attaching your covering letter and submit everything securely through our website. We aim to reply to submissions within four weeks and  while we cannot promise publication, we value the time, creativity and commitment behind every manuscript entrusted to us.
